Life is an adventure where every chance that we have to enjoy it should be taken as a blessing as Nadya always says it. This is exactly how she lives her life both in her personal and professional world. She is a graduate from Agricultural Technology and earned her master degree in Agro technology at University of Jember. With her early interest in agricultural science, she has taken both of her final project and thesis with coffee and cacao as the main topic. She started her professional career in several seedling companies which life then took her to SDS in 2010. From then on she has focused on her auditor position and has conducted numerous audits/verification for agricultural commodities such as coffee, cacao, coconut, citronella, and other agricultural processed products. As her qualification as auditor, she has completed trainings including organic production and processing standards EU, NOP-USDA, JAS, SNI; CAFE Practices, and UTZ Certified. Nadya’s other competency is taking care of the business tax.
“I shall do my best” is a quote that comes out from Rif’an when tackling on projects. Creativity, innovative and independence are core values which he hold dearly on in his life. Graduate from the Faculty of Technology of Agriculture University Jember has undergone training for Inter-mediator Technology in Germany and has assumed the position of expertise staff Inter-mediator Technology for the Department of Research and Technology (Kementerian Riset dan Teknologi) Republic of Indonesia in 2012-2013. In 2013, he was active in various positions such as as International Staff Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) Exhibition and as consultant for small business holders (UMKM) which hold partnership with Chambers of Commerce and Industry of East Java (KADIN Jawa Timur). At this current moment, in addition to his position as auditor in SDS for various certification programs such as organic programs EU, NOP-USDA, JAS, SNI; UTZ Certified and C.A.F.E. Practices; he still managed his time to take a role as the lead position in the program of economy development for community with technology through NGO INTERTEK.
Firjon is a full on life and has high dedication for his family and SDS. Graduated from the faculty of Agricultural Technology at the University of Jember, Firjon is no stranger to the world of agriculture. With his final project focused on coffee Arabica and his experience as assistant researcher in cacao project, he is well equipped with technical knowledge which serves his qualification as auditor. His working experience as internal auditor in foreign cigar company and as field technical assistance for plasma farmer project in the same company has given him the field experience as how the sustainable program is monitored and applied internally within a company. As an auditor, he is well trained in internationally recognized standards such as UTZ Certified, Organic (EU, NOP-USDA, JAS), and 4C which serves him as valuable member of SDS. His thirst for knowledge and life in general has become his biggest asset as auditor.
Prayogi is a graduate from the Faculty of Agricultural Technology in University of Jember. He has graduated with honor and earned the award as Best Overall Performance Graduate in his year which shown high level of discipline and creativity in his formal education years. He has life principles which he holds dearly on in his every life that hard work, consistency, persistent, and religious devotion will enable us to appreciate the beauty of life. He was involved extensively in the program in Bondowoso East Java which the main objective of the program is to increase the quality of coffee. Through this program, he gained valuable insights on the real field experience on how coffee production and processing activities are held in the farmer level. In the world of seminars and workshops in coffee industries, he holds a very active role in attending various events to extend his knowledge such as “Pemahaman Technopreneurship Sebagai Upaya Peningkatan Profesionalisme di Bidang Kerja”, “Inovasi dan Teknologi dalam Upaya Peningkatan Ketahanan Pangan Indonesia” etc. Currently he is well qualified and experienced for verification program of C.A.F.E. Practices
Joan is a graduate from Pelita Harapan University with Food Technology major. Having the experience living in foreign countries has increased her skill to adapt to various diverse culture and language which contribute to her soft skill in auditing world. She started her professional career as consultant of international standards which are ISO 9001:2008, OHSAS and ISO 14001 to organizations in various industries including maritime, educational facilities, medical facilities, food processing and consumer goods. With years of experience as auditor/verifier, she has conducted sustainable programs including GOTS, organic (JAS, USDA-NOP, EU), RSPO, UTZ, 4C and C.A.F.E. Practices as both lead auditor and auditor/verifier. In addition to the skill obtained from training of the programs mentioned, she also had completed successfully training on ISO 9001:2008 Lead Auditor, SA 8000, ISO 22001, and Halal through workshop and practical implementation. As one of her previous position in food industry processing company, she has built programs of GMP, Halal and hygiene conduct which is then developed further in the company. Equipped with her fluency in Bahasa Indonesia, English and Chinese, she is ready to take on projects across continents with SDS.
