Every member of our team firmly believe in the mission of the company. With the same goal in mind, everyone of us has clear direction in which how we are going to move forward which is then direct the way we conduct our roles in professional world. With such mindset and internal monitoring, our work conduct is strictly following our internal Guidance of Conduct (Pedoman Perilaku). Professionalism is the culmination of competence, attitude, and knowledge which has become our culture which embedded in every our decision.

Independent

We are an independent organization with no affiliation with any other parties both in financial nor political interest. Every member of our company is aware of such policy and has declared of his/her commitment with signed declaration of any conflict of interest. This core value is one of the assurance that we can provide for our client in our objective, impartial, and unbiased service.

History

Idea is a man’s priceless possession. Inspiration serves as timeless reference. Dream is a life goal worth fighting for. Passion, dedication and integrity are irreplaceable components for a fleet to sail across treacherous sea to reach the final destination. It was started from a humble idea from the founders when they met up in a hotel in Jember and driven by vision of a future in which human kind shall live in harmoniously with nature. Fueled by determination to give contribution towards a sustainable life style, the role as certification body was embraced and enforced to play its part in achieving a society as such pictured in the vision, then in the last of December 2007, Sustainable Development Services, hereinafter called SDS was born.

Certification

Certification (IFOAM, 2003) is a procedure whereby a third party provides written assurance that the whole production process has been assessed, so there confidence that the products produced in compliance with the required requirements.

Competence

SDS as a third-party certification body is competent to assess through audit, inspection and verification based on the standards of national and international certification programs such as C.A.F.E. Practices – Starbucks, Common Code for the Coffee Community (4C), UTZ Certified, Bird Friendly Coffee, Ethical Tea Partnership (ETP) dan SNI 6729:2013 Sistem Pertanian Organik.

CERTIFICATION GIVES YOUR CONSUMER CONFIDENCE THAT THE PRODUCT YOU PRODUCE MEETS THE STANDARD. SOME STAGE IN THE CERTIFICATION PROCEDURE IS REQUIRED UNTIL YOU ARE BEING CERTIFIED.
