SDS Indonesia cooperates with CERES (Certification of Environmental Standards) GmbH, Germany in providing European Union Organic certification. Contracts and audits were carried out by SDS Indonesia personnels, while certification was carried out by CERES. CERES was accredited by Deutsche Akcreditierungsstelle GmbH (DAkkS) and its certification is recognized by the European Union Commission. This collaboration covers 3 countries namely Indonesia, Timor Leste and Papua New Guinea.

Prior to October 1, 2023, the standard used for auditing and certification was the CERES standard equivalent to EC 834/2007, and starting October 1, 2023 we use the new European Union standard, namely EC No. 848/2018. If the requirements are met, the client may use the EU organic label and logo on their product packaging and other promotional materials.
