Meanwhile, the Artisan C-Sink Global Standard supports biochar production at the smallholder level, giving every farmer the opportunity to produce their own biochar and be compensated for their contribution to climate protection. The program ensures that low-, middle- and high-income countries can produce biomass in an ecologically sustainable manner.
