Contracts and audits are carried out by SDS Indonesia personnel, while certification is carried out by CERES. CERES is accredited by Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH (DAkkS) and its certification is recognized by the EU Commission. The cooperation covers 3 countries, namely Indonesia, Timor Leste and Papua New Guinea.

Prior to October 1, 2023, the standard used for auditing and certification was the CERES standard equivalent to EC 834/2007, and from October 1, 2023 the new EU standard EC No. 848/2018 will be used. If it has met the requirements, the client may use the EU organic label and logo on its product packaging and other promotional materials.
